'James Mitchell leaves 'The Undergound Band'!' - After just under a year with the band,through musical differences, James mitchell has left the band to be temporarilly replaced by new bassist (Jon Walsh). My Last teenage year has almost ended! But I will try to age gracefully. 'James Mitchell' Jions 'The Underground' ~ Andover based 60's style rock band 'The Underground' recently lost there bass player due to having too much on his plate (which is understandable). Jon Walsh (excerlent blues guitarist and singer song writer) is well know in the local area as being the front man of his own Blues Band namely 'The Jon Walsh Blues Band' (well worth a listen!). It is in his sted i take over as Bassist in the 'The Underground'. (SEE 'CONCERT DATES' FOR UP-COMING APPEARANCES) 'James Mitchell' in Africa ~ In August I jet off to Mali (West Africa) on a youth music exchange, organised and funded by the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (www.basingstoke.gov.uk). Spending almost 3 weeks in the 'music capital' i expect to have a great time in the new and different music culture. Watching Out for the MOZZIES!! COMING SOON!
